Greetings from this part of the Globe!

Some of you may have wondered why I have been “Off the Air” for a while (or not). Well, in what I presume to be correct Modern-Babble, there have been a variety of factors that have contributed to the difficult conditions that have been beyond our control that we have done our utmost to limit………… In the words of Tony Blair “We have listened and (appear as though we have) learned”; in the words of our students “We haven’t (either) listened to a word you’ve said (and not learnt a thing) “. If I have managed to get this technology thing right, I have decided to sum up the usual look that appears on their faces with a picture.
